I had a great birthday weekend. My Mom & Step Dad were in town on their way back from Florida. So that was special. I was able to get out for an hour bike ride in the morning which was a nice treat. And then I got to watch Leah play basketball on Saturday afternoon [...] I’m so proud of my baby (though she’s growing up too fast). She performed in her 4th grade talent show this morning. As of last year I wasn’t sure she really wanted to do it. But I kept hoping and praying she would. I was so happy that she signed up for it in the [...] I haven’t written much here musicwise since the blog started. That’s because there hasn’t been a whole lot to write about. For those that don’t know me well, I sing in the Chapel Praise Choir at The Peoples’ Church in Franklin, TN. At times they are kind enough to let me get up and do [...] Over the course of the next several months I spent more and more time cycling and less and less time writing. It wasn’t a concious decision. It just sort of happened. So here I sit two years later analyzing [...] I was priviledged to be able to accompany my 9 year old daughter in her voice recital. She volunteered me to her voice instructor. Anyway it was a blast and we had a great time rehearsing and performing this song. |
